A watercooler conversation A bitter coffee meditation on the ways that we sell ourselves cheap on the 44 hours left in this week A paper clip parley A stapled down soliloquy of the things to which we find we're adverse it's only Monday hey hey things could get worse things could get worse collating a concept elaborating on the next steps of a method to get ourselves free of the 5 wicked days of this working week A critical cardboard cut A hand slammed as the door swings shut tied to the tracks with the strings of a purse it's only Monday hey hey things could get worse things could get worse Someday I'm gonna just tell them all to shove it right now I nod and smile, pretend that I love it this Hell where I find I'm immersed it's only Monday hey hey things could get worse things could get worse things could get worse things could get worse

Another Wednesday another middle of the week not the beginning or the end but inbetween it's too late to start something new right now and it's too early to see how this plays out Wednesdays Child is full of woe lets just see where this things goes cause it's too late but too soon to know another Wednesday plateau Another stop in the forward momentum of all the plans and all the intentions the road they pave is golden and long but it leads back to Hell if we're wrong Wednesdays Child is full of woe lets just see where this things goes cause it's too late but too soon to know another Wednesday plateau And you can try to get a running start but in the middle is the hardest part but it's not the beginning or the end that makes you want to try again Wednesdays Child is full of woe lets just see where this things goes cause it's too late but too soon to know another Wednesday plateau Wednesdays Child is full of woe lets just see where this things goes cause it's too late but too soon to know another Wednesday plateau

Sunday Drive 02:14
I took a Sunday drive all my friends and I followed you out to the ocean side Black ducks in a row like the washline clothes one by one we fell behind a man i didn't recognize said some words that made us cry though he was coldly intellectual then the rain began to fall a foggy curtain call umbrellas ineffectual I took a Sunday ride out with the tide flowing out on crests of white ashes in the sky mixed with the salt and brine one by one we said goodbye I remembering your face even time cannot erase though it's black and white and faded brown as you floated out of reach I heard the preacher preach that kindred souls are never drowned I took a Sunday drive all your friends and I in onxy cars that seemed to glide like dashes in a line that make a clear divide one by one we left behind flowers on the oceans waves slipping silently away like the last notes of a song blue and peridot bouquets colours never fade in memory you're never gone
